Description
This one does unfortunately despawn, but there are mods available that disable the despawn timers for gliders (that anyone with the ability to import this blueprint can and should use). It's so stable in flight that you can hop off the control stick and lob objects, recharge your batteries, etc. - it's effectively a perpetual energy flyer. There's two pieces of frozen meat on the bottom that help a bit with takeoff if you're on a high friction surface at certain angles but they're a luxury, not a necessity.
